Sensei CassidY

Originally from Sydney, Australia, Cassidy moved to San Francisco, California in 2015 and started Ishinryu Karate SF in 2018.

Cassidy has been training and coaching for over 30 years and holds a 5th dan black belt with Ishinryu karate and a 1st dan with Shotokan karate (SKIF).

During his years of training he has also coached, refereed and competed with and against other karate schools across Australia, Fiji, Indonesia and the US.

He holds a level 1 national coaching accreditation from the Australian Sports Commission and is a member of the US National Karate Federation, the Australian Karate Federation and the World Karate Federation.

 


 

Sensei Addie

Addie is a 3rd dan blackbelt in Shotokan Karate (SKIF). She has been training for over 30 years - starting in Bulgaria, then continuing in Germany, New York and now San Francisco. 

She has been assistant instructor in various schools for over 20 years and a competitor in both kumite and kata in national and international championships.

sensei Thierry

Thierry started learning Karate in France and has practiced for over 30 years. He holds a 3rd dan black belt with Shotokan and has over 20 year experience as competitor in WKF tournaments in both Kumite and Kata.

He is 3 times the French National Champion and has won many local tournaments in the Bay Area since he moved here in 2012.

He is also an accredited WKF referee accreditation (county level).
